WEDI’s West Side Bazaar Business Incubation Program is a bustling marketplace where aspiring entrepreneurs can incubate restaurant and retail concepts to learn the fundamentals of running a sustainable, scalable small business.
WEDI’s mission of strengthening community by removing systemic barriers to economic equity in Western New York led to the creation of this unique Business Incubator where folks who dream of starting a restaurant or retail shop can find a place to get started, building their skills, brand and audience so when they graduate to the next phase of their journey they move equipped with confidence, competance and a existing customer base!

ARE YOU BAZAAR READY?

Being "Bazaar-ready" means you have developed your business to the point you are ready to have your first location, at the West Side Bazaar! This also involves some papers needed to ensure your business can operate within the Bazaar.

NEEDED FOR APPLICATION

  • Have a positive Customer Service Promise and Serve First Mentality within the community, have a coachable attitude, and willingness to communicate.

  • Business Plan: Develop a business plan with a well defined product offering, marketing plan and basic budgets for initial and ongoing expenses and projected revenues.

  • Menu Uniqueness: Ensure your menu/retail items are unique within the Bazaar, offering items that complement, not compete with, other vendors. (Only applicable for restaurants)
